It took a lot of energy to read this disheartening tale of woe. When will the rest of the country wake up from their slumber? The 120,000 highly skilled, educated Canadians who left last year are just the start. Will the last one leaving turn out the lights? Liberals don't know how to read anyway. They're going to just play with themselves in the dark, as Justin did
You can't expect the whole nation to wake up. But people who ARE awake can take legal action. See a lawyer about the issues that most concern you and see what a citizen has standing to do.
No more central bank. Commodity based standard. Cut gov’t by 95%. Federal govt gone. Local governance and provincial only. No more centralized thievery. No more 1st past the post bullshit. Term limits for lieticians and bureau rats. No more union pension thievery. Term limits for judiciary. I can go on and on.
Nothing changes until people wake up and see that government is your enemy. Merely the puppets of corporations. Fiat currency is a grift. Understand that and its not hard to fix everything. Unless one lacks courage and character. Which most do.
Do you need an adult to tell you how to live? I dont.
I think I might prefer a monarchy. At least you would not pretend that people have a say Then, if things get really bad you can always chop off their heads.
So very well said, very clear and concise. Hard to read, sad to read. Thank you Liam, for all your hard work in bring these stories to us. Not looking forward to the next 3 years.
I'm so sick of the corruption. Only thing to do is invest in the US and retire there !! Liberal/wef will have this country completely trashed in 3 more years!! Open your eyes, look at Great Britian
Could you please shorten this to 280 characters or less and summarize with small words so that the Liberal supporters might have a better chance at understanding?
Both the people who live in comfort, and those who struggle every day for basic living, share a general commonality: they can’t much be bothered to pay attention to government, domestic or international events.
Democracy only works with active, conscious citizen engagement, but most seem to have forgotten that fact.
Most of the totalitarian or authoritarian regimes of the world run elections. Elections confer legitimacy. They also work to further the talking points of the “useful idiots” supporting these regimes in the West. However - and this piece spells it out beautifully - all elections are not created equal, and just because a state holds the descriptor of “democratic” does not make it so.
This lack of awareness(?)/interest(?)/care(?) allows state authorities to juice systems even further.
Not mentioned here is the recent passage of Bill C-3 which confers citizenship (and thus, full voting rights) to anyone in the world who can claim a Canadian ancestor from any point in time without strict requirement of proof. Think about that one… it takes 2 seconds to see how that is a bad idea. One thing it will undoubtedly assure is a whole lot more mail-in ballots. Hmm…
It also runs into international agreement. Supranational organizations like the World Health Organization are also making use of this. The Pandemic Protocol, which is in some process of no-one-is-entirely-certain, will allow the WHO to override national governments on any issue that they declare to be a “public health emergency” … without reservation. When questioned as to how this can coexist with democratic states, the answer was that if a country elected a government, and that government signed the protocol, then it was democratically legitimate. Hmmm…
As for the current moment in Canada as far as “big picture” goals goes, I am pretty firmly of the opinion that Mark Carney is determined to make Canada a vassal state of China. Very few of his actions make sense for being in the “national interest” outside of this framework. No doubt, he (and many others in the Liberal party and backroom) will be personally well rewarded. Of course - if true - this also would get uncomfortably close to a definition of treason. But if no one is paying attention…
So well written, well researched, and definitely true. Here's the problem: Canadianswill not rise up!! They will just not do it; theywill write their hearts out, but no action. Soon the opportunity will be gone as our guns an land ...hmm, what to do?? GET UP, STAND UP, STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS; Who said that?? Bob Marley.
Canada under the Liberals has become tightly managed, emotionally sterilised, and quietly coercive. Dissent is rarely banned outright. It is processed, softened, recoded, and punished through social and institutional means. Public life runs on behavioural nudging, managed narratives, bureaucratic opacity, and an enforced understanding that some realities are not to be challenged too directly.
Most people do not fully know what to believe. They settle into the official story because it is the most socially supported and least costly version of events. They perform belief because disbelief has become professionally dangerous, socially exhausting, and practically useless.
So, Canada still looks like a functioning democracy, and that appearance is part of the theft. The rituals remain. Elections are held. The news stays on. People work, date, commute, and shop.
The real obscenity is not only that the country was taken. It is that it was taken through a machinery so polished, so procedural, and so deniable that anyone who saw it early could be made to sound insane until the evidence was too overwhelming to dismiss.
I harbour the same grief. The process never really worked, but now the combination of Bill's giving power equivalent of the EMA, a long-standing majority in the Senate and the House, and the looming confiscation of the Not Withstanding clause, by Federally appointed judges robbing Provinces of the only reason we have a Constitution, as weak as it was, in the first place, all strangled any possibility of democratic action. Pity the stupid Canadians.

The problem is, the federal government has unlimited legal funding.
Democracy has always been a lie. A Central Bank fractional reserve ponzi scheme. Enforced through war, regime change and pedophilia.
This side good. That side bad. Fight fight fight. Government can fuck off. In all its machinations.
Hmmmm and just how would you propose this country should be run????

This is not freedom it's a WEF political class pretending to be democratic but in truth acting like autocratic legal criminals. When will this stop!

Alberta will secede or die with the rest of the country.

🇨🇦 The Country Was Taken Quietly

A very good summary of a very bad situation in Canada. The only winners in this are the elites, especially the Liberal executive.
As an aside, there doesnt seem to br a peep from the Longest Ballot Committee regarding tomorrow's byelection.....

Great synopsis since 2020. We have been slowly cooked without seeing what is happening and now the question is how do we get back our country?
Beautifully documented. Should turn it into a proper film Documentary. For the rest of Canada to “see” and wake up.
Parliament is meeting less and less every year.
I knew as soon as the Liberals got rid of the balanced budget act in 2016, we were in trouble.
