I enjoy the newsletter but I'd also like to see you expand your operations and target a larger audience because this is the type of news that needs more eyes on it. Sorry, like government, all demands and no proposed solutions. ;-)

I just upgraded to paid. It's quite reasonable to pay a small subscription fee for this level of content. I encourage anyone who is able to shell out the $50 for a full year to support Jonathan and Liam. I like option 'A' but you two need to do what you believe will have the biggest impact.

I understand your need to expand and delve deeper with your investigative reporting.even if it means leaving people like myself behind. I'm a retiree living on a fixed income. After rent and groceries, there's not much left and that I must reserve a little something for emergencies. There are so many like me who struggle to make ends meet. But your messages needs to get out to more Canadians and I support your decision. I will miss your newsletters... they've become a part of my morning ritual along with a cup of java. Thank you for all that you've done to date. :)

I would like to see a live stream on X or YouTube every month to connect your followers and expand discussions with members. You can make some money through super comments and address community questions at the same time.

Also having in person meet ups every few months or a paid conference with speakers would be great. If the goal is change and impact, I firmly believe change is achieved when people meet eye to eye and heart to heart.

There is a dramatic difference between broadcasting information at people and the organizing of peoples actions towards a common outcome.

One is a form of entertainment entropy and the is other a kinetic force taking form in the physical world.

What I really like about the newsletter is a concise encapsulation of important topics of the day. I rarely miss reading so thus would miss not having it anymore!

I would like to suggest that your podcasts be free if you would like to reach a larger audience. If people like what they are hearing, they might subscribe.

So far, it's clear people want the free daily newsletter. I like a daily reminder from a trusted source, even though I know it's a lot of work. The daily newsletter could be shorter, you could drop sports coverage which people can find anywhere else. I like the science stories, which are quite neglected and sensationalized in most other outlets. Anyway, keep up the great work!

I know the only way for you to expand is to change your format, upping the cost to consumers and I really appreciate all you’ve done and how informative your podcast and newsletter has been. I know you’ll make great strides and continue to fight for Canadians fed up with the status quo. I just can’t afford to pay to subscribe and Ive watched so many of my favourite speakers I’ve followed in the past disappear behind a paywall, it’s disappointing to lose out. Hopefully your podcasts remain free on spotify. Good luck in the new year.

Podcasts will remain free. It’ll just be extended (extra 15-30min) and ad free behind the paywall.

Keep the newsletter. You attract more flies with honey than vinegar. Money's tight. Offer Member's only content, and call it a win. If they want it, they'll invest.

Definitely option A with the daily newsletters for me. I read the whole newsletter every morning while I’m eating breakfast, and I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if you guys canceled it. You already do a great job of diving deeper into topics through the podcasts, so I think keeping the more in-depth content there would be a great option as well.
