2) The single biggest reason was, after Trump imposed tariffs, he sided with the liberals making it an existential crisis instead of doing what Kevin O'Leary and Danielle Smith did, by meeting him and saying, "See Canada, under Liberals, this is what THEY get you"
He could have sided with Trump and subsequently resolved the issue, but the country banded together, brought in a crisis actor, Carney, who said publicly on the debate stage, he is there for 2 reasons, Trump and the trade war.
