Emperor Trudeau Has No Clothes…and A LOT of Scandals

In Hans Christian Andersen’s tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” two swindlers convince the emperor they can make him a suit of clothes that is invisible to anyone who is incompetent and stupid. However, they don’t actually make any clothes. The emperor, not wanting to appear unfit for his position, pretends he can see the clothes. His ministers do the same. Finally, as the emperor parades through the city in his “new clothes,” a child calls out that the emperor is wearing nothing at all, exposing the truth that everyone was too afraid to acknowledge.

This story illustrates how people fear speaking truth to power, fearing ridicule, social pressure, or political correctness, even when the truth is obvious. It signifies how people often willingly participate in collective delusion until someone speaks up.

Canadians have succumbed to collective delusion by pretending that Justin Trudeau’s government is legitimate. Significant interference has undermined Canada’s elections, and Trudeau has had more scandals than one can keep up with.

Typically, in politics, a single scandal can bring down a regime. Trudeau, on the other hand, seems to distract the Canadian populace with a new scandal every week, preventing them from deeply understanding any single one. It’s almost expected that there will be a new scandal every week. There is now more than enough evidence to show that not only does Trudeau not deserve to continue his role as Prime Minister, but that he shouldn’t have even been elected in the first place.

By putting all his worst gaffes and ethical breaches in one place, I hope to prove that Emperor Trudeau has no clothes and is unfit for his position.
